Additional Information

A field of red, with the Union Flag (Union Jack) in the canton. Originally an ensign of the British Royal Navy, it is currently used as the United Kingdom's civil ensign. An evolved version of this flag was in use as the national flag of Canada prior to 1965, when the current Maple Leaf flag was adopted and recognised by the Queen.
